ABOUT

ABOUT JONATHAN SUFFOLK

MY APPROACH

  • Jonathan works as a critical friend to mid-career professionals who feel stuck. I help them get their house in order, confront what’s holding them back, and make strategic, sustainable decisions about work and life. My focus is honesty, clarity, and action.

EXPERIENCE & JOURNEY

  • My journey spans hands-on technical work, creative leadership, senior management, public service, entrepreneurship, and start-up life. Along the way, I have navigated success, failure, responsibility, uncertainty, and personal challenge. These experiences shape my coaching, grounded, realistic, and deeply human, helping people see clearly, steady themselves, and make thoughtful changes without burning their lives down.

CERTIFICATIONS & EDUCATION

  • Jonathan holds an MSc in Organisational Psychology from Birkbeck, is a member of the British Psychological Society, and has completed several recognised coaching and mentoring courses. He has also coached and mentored people informally in the workplace.

SPECIALTIES

  • Jonathan specialises in helping professionals who feel stuck, focusing on career transitions, work-life alignment, fear management, and making clear, strategic decisions.

PRICING

I offer coaching in a clear, straightforward way without pressure to commit beyond what’s useful for you. Most people work with me for a short period, focused on gaining clarity, steadying themselves, and deciding what comes next.

Initial Conversation

Free – 20 minutes. A short, no-obligation call to talk through what’s bringing you here, ask questions, and see whether working together would be helpful.

Coaching Sessions

£90 per 60-minute session. One-to-one coaching sessions focused on understanding what’s really going on, clearing the noise, and supporting thoughtful, realistic next steps. Sessions are available online or in person at my rooms in Hove, or at or near where you work - by arrangement.

Coaching Packages

Most people choose to work in a small number of sessions rather than open-ended coaching.

Clarity & Direction

5 sessions over around 8 to 10 weeks - £450. A focused piece of work to help you clear the decks, steady yourself, and regain a sense of direction.

Sustained Support

8 sessions over around 4 months - £680. For those navigating bigger transitions, ongoing pressure, or complex decisions, with more space to reflect and act.

Payment for packages can be made in full or spread across the duration of the work.

Reduced-Rate Sessions

I want coaching to be accessible. A small number of reduced-rate spaces are available for people experiencing financial pressure or unusual circumstances. If cost is a concern, you’re welcome to raise this during our initial conversation.

Payment & Cancellation Policy

To protect the value of the work and the time involved, sessions are booked in advance and require payment to secure them.

Payment

  • Individual sessions are paid in full at the time of booking.

  • Coaching packages require either full payment in advance or a 50% deposit to confirm the booking, with the remaining balance agreed before sessions begin.

Cancellations and Changes

  • Sessions can be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice.

  • Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice are charged in full.

  • Missed sessions without notice are charged in full.

This policy reflects the care involved in holding space for each client and ensures the work remains fair and sustainable.

A note on flexibility

I understand that life happens. Wherever possible, I’ll aim to be flexible, but short-notice cancellations can’t usually be rebooked.
